COMPETITION: World Dessert Championship

In 2021, I finished 5th at World Food Championship in dessert. In 2019, I finished 4th in dessert. In 2018, I finished 5th in dessert with my second perfect score on my structured dish, a tart. In 2017, I finished 3rd in dessert with a rare perfect score on my structured dish, a Caramel Apple Swiss Roll. Four years of WFC competitions, four top-five finishes in dessert, and two rare Perfect Scores at the World Food Championship. Baking birthday cakes for kids who might never receive one is what I love to do. I am trained to be an E.A.T. (Execution, Appearance, and Taste) certified food judge with the World Food Championships. My family has always accused me of being "crazy competitive," and now I am thrilled to have an outlet for it with Food Sports competitions and WFC. I am an extreme competitor in every sense of the word. I work hard, practice hard, constantly take classes, and always do my absolute best. My saying is, "Do Your Best and Let God Do The Rest." My husband, Jerry, and I have been married since August 1984. We have five children between the ages of 19 and 29, including a special needs son who has had 17 brain surgeries, twins, plus two adoptive children. My husband's sister and my hero, Marsha Harper, is my sous chef. She is a three-time cancer survivor. She is currently on a ten-year chemo treatment plan.
