My culinary background consists of weekend cooking in chili competitions for the Chili Appreciation Society (CASI) and the International Chili Society (ICS). . I have branched out into Verde, Homestyle, salsa, wings, beans, soup, dips, steaks, and now desserts. I won Chili appreciation World Beans in 2015.
I started cooking 7 years ago, when a friend of mine convinced me that it was a great stress reliever. I enjoy the competition cooking, and always looking for my self improvements in cooking. My mother spent many days trying to teach me cooking when i was a young, i didn't think i needed to know. But i wished i would have listened now, she was a wonderful cook.
