COMPETITION: World Recipe Championship
I'm an Arizona native and I love spending time with my family, enjoying the outdoors and working with recipes to try out on my family and friends. I work as a High School Culinary Instructor and teach grades 9th-12th from the basics of cooking and baking to professional cooking. As an instructor I am always encouraging my students to challenge themselves to perfect their culinary skills. I had the privilege of attending the WFC in 2017 in Alabama with one of my students, as his Sous Chef who earned a Golden Ticket after competing in the Scottsdale Culinary Festival. That was a life changing moment for me as an instructor. Plating and competing to be the best in my kitchen has become a priority everyday at school. My passion to challenge my students to do their best has fueled my passion to do my best. I was determined to enter a food competition so I could return to the WFC. Earlier this year I entered the 2019 Taste of America in Arizona and placed 2nd which qualified me for this years competition. Culinary is a passion of mine and I want everyone that I cook for to know, I put my heart in soul in to each and every dish I create.
