I have always enjoyed food and started cooking when I was a teenager. I loved trying new things after watching Julia Child on TV way before cable and the popular cooking shows. I was then blessed to marry my beautiful bride Diane who is a great cook and is even more passionate about food. This led to home competitions with both of us trying to out do the other. Diane took the next step and started competing in food competitions last year and I was privileged to sous chef on her WFC 2017 3rd place Dessert Team. What an incredible experience sharing the love of food and cooking with the best chefs in the world. I have now been diagnosed with Food Sport Fever so took the next step and entered the Taste of America competition and came in First Place for the great state of Arkansas. Orange Beach here we come!
