Where am I from?
My name is Diane Roark. Mobile, Alabama is where I was born and raised. Since being married, I have lived all over the South including Tennessee, Louisiana, and Georgia. Currently, I live near Little Rock, Arkansas.
Now that my kids are older and Caleb, my special needs son is doing well, it is time for me to dive deeper into my love of cooking. Hopefully, my six years of developing recipes for my blog, Recipes For Our Daily Bread, will be very helpful. Always being extremely competitive with my love of cooking is a great match for food competitions.

My husband and I have been married since August 1984. He is always my sous chef. We have five children between the ages of 15 and 26. Our twin boys are named Casey and Caleb. Caleb was born with a brain bleed and has had seventeen brain surgeries. He has cerebral palsy, seizures, processing problems and rarely speaks. Our youngest two children are adopted from Eastern Europe at ages four and seven years old.
Growing up, my mom walked out and left our family when I was thirteen. I learned quickly how to cook and still love it today. My blog is all about helping others find a love for cooking by preparing easy recipes to help put dinner on the table quickly. I cannot live without my cast iron skillet, Dutch oven, Crockpot, and one pot meals. Cooking healthy is always a goal for me, but you will find the delicious Southern and Cajun recipes on my blog too. My favorite recipes are my desserts. It is no lie, I have a huge sweet tooth.
Orange Beach is like home. I am thrilled to be back baking desserts at WFC.
I am passionate about faith, family, food, blogging, photography, traveling, and my love cooking contests.
Working With Brands
I believe that the best advertisement for a product is word of mouth. If I am looking to purchase a new product, I search for someone who has used the product to give me their opinion. I use both my recipe blog, Recipes For Our Daily Bread, and travel blog, Our American Travels, to promote brands I use and love.
