COMPETITION: World Invitational Steak Championship
I went from food lover, to food judge to food competitor. After Judging at WFC in 2012 and 2013 and competing in the Burger Category in 2014 I came back to compete in the Steak Invitational for 2017 My Steak Journey started in Hoofdorp, Netherlands at the Tony Stone Low and Slow and continued to Texas for SCA Championship 2017 and then Alabama. With Colleen Hayes as my Sous Chef we managed to come in 2nd overall in the Steak Top 10!!! that was wild!! This year has seen me compete in Holland again as well as the UK, and all the usual comps we do in the Northwest. it was very exciting to take first place at the first ever SCA comp in Washington state at the Seattle Grillfest. This Food Journey, is a journey of love and fellowship and it has been amazing!! I am so excited to return to Orange Beach Alabama in Nov. 2018 for the World Food Championships. BARK BARK BARK! BIG BARK! BIG BITE! BIG DOG!
