COMPETITION: World Open Chili Championship

QUALIFYING EVENT: Smoke on the Water – Charleston, WV (Verde)


My wife, Annette and I started cooking chili competitively just 3 years ago. Since then, we have had a bunch of good fortune, winning rookie of the year award in our first event, then winning two ICS red chili cookoffs, and ICS verde chili twice, as well as first place finishes in two CASI cookoffs. I have qualified for the ICS World Chili Championships three times for red chili, two times for verde and the Terlingua International Chili Championships twice. I am looking forward to cooking against some of the top chili chefs in Vegas!
