QUALIFYING EVENT: Duda Farm Fresh Foods Celery Contest


Donna Wolfe is a reference librarian and widow who lives in Central, New Jersey. She learned to cook from her mother who did research on jells at high altitudes at the University of Illinois and father whose uncle owned a restaurant called the Cliffs in Cincinnati. A passion for cooking led to her first blue ribbon and championship purple in the Girl Scout Division at the Kentucky State Fair when she was eleven years old. The next time she competed, she won the "Dinner Made Easy" Category in the 45th Pillsbury Bake-Off in 2012. She is working on a novel about a character named Chowder Maxwell, who runs a chowder house on Buzzards Bay in Massachusetts.
