QUALIFYING EVENT: Chef's Roll
I was originally a professional graphic artist, but going from contract to contract with seemingly zero benefits made me realise that I didn't know where my next meal was ever going to come from. Enter Le Cordon Bleu and their culinary arts certificate program, I very much enjoyed cooking before I went to culinary school. They just gave me an excellent foundation and direction. From there, I've been in multiple positions where I've learned many things from the different Chefs that I've worked and staged under. I hope to bring the tastes of my Asian American upbringing to an international audience.
