Bill Anderson has been BBQing for 30 years and has been competing since 2006 with the Chatham Artillery BBQ Team. We have won a lot of competitions in the Southeast including Grand Championships in Albany, GA (FBA), and KCBS Grands in Daytona FL, Kennesaw GA, Greenwood SC (Food Network Challenge Episode), Dillard GA, Lyons GA, and back to back wins in one of the biggest contests on the East Coast... Tryon NC. We cook on two Cookshack FEC-100 pellet smokers and our specialty is KCBS contests and the four categories chicken, ribs, butts, and brisket.
We also make our living in the BBQ World... our book, Competition BBQ Secrets, was one of the first books on the subject of competition BBQ when it was written in 2006. It’s still a best seller today and is the “go to” book for many a BBQ Team. Our website is www.bbq-book.com.
