Murf is one of the founders and directors of The Beefy Boys, having competed successfully in BBQ and Burger competitions in the Uk and US including coming 2nd in the words best burger competition in Las Vegas in 2014, top ten best burger in the world in Orlando, Alabama And Dallas Texas between 2015 -2019 and current holder of Burger Chef of The year and signature Burger of the year at The National Burger awards 2023. Murf is recognised as one of the foremost authorities on burgers in the Uk. A now regular guest on BBC's Saturday Kitchen as well as other TV shows such as Tom Kerridges' Hidden world of Hospitality Murf and The Beefy Boys will be releasing their first cook book in August 2024 published by Hardee grant / Penguin and released in both the UK and US
