COMPETITION: World Soup Championship
Kellie is a home cook who has been entering recipe contests and competing in cook-offs for more than 10 years. She will be competing in The World Food Championships for the fifth time this year. In 2016 she placed 3rd in the Recipe category at WFC. Kellie has been a finalist in a number of competitions, including the National Festival of Breads, Eggland's Best America's Best Recipe Contest, and The Pillsbury Bake Off. She was a Pillsbury finalist twice, winning the dinner category on her first trip and the GE Imagination Award on her second. She was the Grand Prize winner in 2018 for Eggland's Best America's Best Recipe contest. When not in the kitchen, Kellie is at work as a Product Manager for a global Medical Publishing company. Her husband and son are the recipients of many recipe tests at home and her daughter is a starving PhD student at Stanford.
