I probably fell in love with food the first time i had it. I have always liked to eat and cook, helping my mom and my nana as much as i could. I started cooking at 17 as a prep cook for a local bbq restaurant. One day the cook didn't show up and it was my time to shine. After a year of cooking professionally, I decided to go to BIC culinary school. I have worked in all types of restaurants from diners to 5 star French Haute cuisine. My passion is sandwiches and smoking food. My approach to food is to use any and all techniques to deliver familiar flavors, in not so familiar ways. I am e competed 3 years in the wfc in sandwich placing 5th, 8 and most recently I was 2nd overall and runner up in sandwich.
