I cooked in a restaurant all through high school to prepared a wide range of dishes. In 2011 I cooked my first BBQ Competition and was hooked. In 2014 I started my own BBQ team called Heavy Smoke BBQ and competed more and more every year till winning a World Championship in 2019 and finished 3rd in the world for KCBS Team Of The Year in 2020. I started a BBQ food truck in 2018 and opened my first restaurant in November of 2020.
