I learned to cook for the need to continue to enjoy great Italian food that I ate growing up. Once I started cooking, there was no stopping me, I knew then, I loved cooking and creating, it became my artistic outlet and my favorite passion. I love to cook for friends and family, compete in recipe and cooking competitions and create food memories along the way. Entering contests has brought me many culinary adventures, which include, Maggiano’s Best Italian Chef Winner: My recipe was featured on the Maggiano’s menu, also the opportunity to tape a segment with Maggiano's chef from their test kitchen, ending with the winning prize of a trip to Italy. Live with Kelly and Michael Show: America’s New Grill Star, a cooking segment with Kelly and Michael. The Today Show: Healthy Dessert, a segment with Joy Bauer. Barnes and Noble: First Cookie Recipe Cookbook: I had an appearance at a Book signing in my local Barnes and Noble to promote their cook book ,... to name a few proud moments. Next adventure is the WFC ! I have enjoyed the ride and looking forward to see where my cooking adventures will take me next.
