Lu Holter is an enthusiastic & creative BBQ competitor and home cook. She loves all foods and is passionate about finding new ways to use ingredients in dishes.She qualified for the seafood category in the Taste of America challenge and is very excited to try her hand in a category she has not competed in before. She and her husband, Damon, own Croix Valley Foods in Hudson, WI. They produce all natural sauces, marinades, dry rubs, spices and Bloody Mary seasonings. The have won numerous international awards with their products and are both fiercely competitive. This will be Lu's 7th time competing in the WFC - in 2014 and 2015 she competed in the pasta category, bacon in 2016 & 2017, barbecue in 2018, and burger in 2019. Her highest finish was 4th place in 2014. She is very excited to see old friends, make new friends and be a part of this great event again!
