My son Elliott Wakefield is the reason I will be competing in the World Food Championships. He is an aspiring young chef who is creative and energetic and has a crazy awesome palate. He is known to his loyal fans as ElliottEats and loves to share his passion for food, travel and adventure. He has been cooking with me since he was 3 years old and has competed on Chopped Junior, Stove Tots and is the youngest competitor to win in the Culinary Fight Club Amazing Pantry Race in Chicago, Il. He is a humble, confident and honest cook that is fast on his feet and ready to cook in any venue. He is the reason I work so hard these days to elevate all things culinary in my world. He will be my sous chef, team mate and inspiration to compete in this years WFC. Team ElliottEats placed 5th overall in the 2018WFC in Orange Beach, Alabama and this has our drive and determination at an all time high. My love for food developed at a very young age on my grandparent's farm. Cooking with my gram inspired me to search the world looking for unique and fresh ingredients. My love for food, family and travel have lead me on this brilliant path to pursue my culinary passion. I have dabbled in cooking for years and as my sons began cooking with me I turned up the volume to be my very best cook, creator, visionary and mentor. Working to teach my sons has helped elevate me to the top of my game.
