My love for cooking started when I was just a kid. The first thing I learned to cook was buttered noodles, I started experimenting adding different ingredients to the buttered noodles and found the combinations that I liked the best. That’s where it all started. Later in life my older brother got me into the restaurant business. My first job was actually as a server at the classic cup café in Kansas City Missouri. Even though I was just a server at this restaurant I learned a lot about food and a lot about the business in general. I have had many different restaurant jobs since then and a lot more experience in the kitchen. I do not have any formal training as a chef but have learned everything through experience. I now own and operate three restaurants in Port Aransas, Tx. I love what I do and I am excited to be competing in WFC. In 2019 I came in 3rd place in the seafood category at WFC. I beleive this was a great accomplishment but it is also difficult to come that close and not take first. This year im coming for number 1!!!
