I started in the restaurant business at age 15 and it derailed the career path I thought I would take. Suffice to say I feel in love with the kitchen. I decided to go to culinary school and more than 10 years later I haven't looked back. Growing up in the midwest I would describe my cooking style as classic American with a twist. I love taking those dishes and updating them with classic French technique and modern flavors profiles. In 2018 I was honored as Chef of the year for Southern Missouri, named Best New Restaurant, and finished in the top 10 for the pork councils Taste of Elegance. When I am not cooking I enjoy spending time with my lovely husband and my corgi.
