COMPETITION: World Barbecue Championship - EAT Division
As the pit master for Wally BBQ, i achieved eligibility for a golden ticket during my first year of competition. I came to WFC 2017 as a sous chef for Andreann Oster Geise in the bacon category as well as for True Smoke in the Barbecue KCBS category. It was a lot of fun, and upon returning home to Canada, i had a new goal. I would focus all year, practicing and testing new recipes, to get my hands on my own golden ticket to compete as Wally BBQ this year. I have no culinary background, just a lots of passion and crazy determination. My ultimate goal is to win this competition, nothing less! I made the final this year (2018) in bbq and finished 5th overall, I’ll be back in 2019.
