HEAD COOK: Jessica Sprowls

Chef Jessica developed her passion for cooking by cooking alongside her grandmothers and aunt at a very early age. Chef Jessica enrolled in her high schools ProStart Culinary program and started developing the skills she needed to further pursue and develop her passion. She started off in the industry as a bus person at a local seafood restaurant in her home town of Covington, LA and within a few weeks found her way to the kitchen and hasn't looked back since. Jessica went to Culinary School at Pennsylvania Culinary Institute - Le Cordon Bleu where she graduated at the top of her class and was awarded multiple awards including "Commitment To Education." Chef Jessica has forged a path for herself in the Culinary world working stints at Levy Restaurants, Marriott Corporation and in the Gaming industry. Her background includes fine dining, buffet, casual dining and banquets. She is currently the Executive Chef at Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast located in Bay St. Louis, MS. Chef Jessica is currently the only Female Executive Chef of a Casino on the Gulf Coast and is also a member of Penn Gaming’s “Women in Leadership”. She is excited to compete in the Chili competition along with her Executive Pastry Chef, Renee Loranger and Banquet Lead Cook, Gregory Castelin.
