Swine Time BBQ Everette Brown – Head Cook Murrells Inlet, SC I started BBQing with family and friends about thirty five years ago. We cooked on homemade pits made of old bed frames, sender blocks, old barn tin and anything else we could find. Pop Pete introduced me to competition BBQing ten years ago. We won our first trophy at the second competition. My wife Penny came up with the name Swine Time and we were as they say in Vegas ‘All In”. We’ve lost one team member my sister in law Pam Tobermann to cancer in 2007 and now in 2012 we are fighting cancer again with my sister and team mate Teresa Pratt.
