St. Louis Black Iron BBQ has been competing in KCBS since Summer of 2010. The team is comprised of Rob Honke, Billy Stork and Jeremy Wrigley, all of the St. Louis Metro-East Area. STL Black Iron earned their spot in this year's World BBQ Championship by taking Grand Champion in the "Praise the Lard" BBQ Cook-Off in Murphysboro, IL. In addition to being BBQ, hunting & outdoor enthusiasts, and connoisseurs of Pabst Blue Ribbon, they are also notoriously known for their motto and coined phrase, "Goin' Full Savage Animal."
