Vander J. Carter was born August 5, 1985 in Jersey City, NJ, he has been chef-ing it up at the professional level for over sixteen years for friends, family and for patrons of the restaurants he has graced. His love for food developed at a very young age while working alongside his grandmother as her apprentice in the kitchen, preparing southern style cuisine and baked goods. Vander is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University, North Miami Campus. He has a background in hotels, corporate kitchens, sports bars, Michelin Star restaurants, private homes, and catering. Vander is now developing the JestGreen brand where he creates food that inspires a difference and gives his users the power to live and eat a greener lifestyle deliciously.
