QUALIFYING EVENT: Wright Brand Bacon Recipe Contest


I have no formal culinary training. I have only been competing locally for only 5 months. I love to cook for family and friends every chance I can. Thinking up new food ideas consumes my thoughts at times. Friends always ask how I came up with the idea to use a certain ingredient that isn't commonly used or thought of. I just smile and say the ideas just come to me. I have been a police officer for the past 21 years and currently hold the rank of Captain. I have also been a member of my local school board for the past 12 years, currently holding the office of Board President. I want to thank Wright Bacon for this awesome opportunity and the Altona Supper Club just because.
