QUALIFYING EVENT: Adam's Pick


I was born and raised in the Bay Area, but never left the Central Coast after graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I started my creative cooking while feeding the brothers of Phi Kappa Psi while in college and used those skills to capture the love of my life, Krystal. I'm new to the competition arena, but my first victory, the Edna Valley Vineyards Chili Throwdown, came a few months after the birth of my daughter, Aubrey. Since then, we have competed in and won two other Chili competitions, the Cal Poly Chili Cook-Off & the Central Coast Chili Cook-off. In addition to our chili, we've also won two Rib Cook-offs with our secret dry-rub and BBQ sauce. We are so excited to have this opportunity to bring the taste of the Central Coast to the big stage of the World Food Championships and Las Vegas.
