McGregor Restaurant Equipment Becomes WFC Partner

The World Food Championships (WFC) is gearing up for its largest food fight to date thanks to its newest Food Sport sponsor, McGregorRestaurant Equipment. The family-owned and operated business out of Forney, Texas, will be assisting Food Champs in October by providing them with state-of-the-art equipment to use as they battle it out for the biggest prize purse in Food Sport history. 

WFC faces its yearly task of flipping an outdoor venue into a fully functioning kitchen that is able to host more than 1,500 competitors. With the help of this year’s equipment sponsor, McGregor, Kitchen Arena will be stocked with the necessary essentials needed to create championship-caliber dishes such as shelving units, refrigeration, and three-compartment sinks.

“Every year at WFC, we strive to make our event bigger and better than the year prior,“ said Mike McCloud, CEO and President of WFC. “We are excited to have McGregor Restaurant Equipment helps us elevate our Food Champs experience competing in Kitchen Arena.”

Food Sport fans will also have the opportunity to learn more about McGregor on-site the Main Event. Representatives from the company will be there to answer any questions competitors may have as well as inform attendees about their product selection.
