Red Gold Announces “The Golden Sizzle” Winners

The World Food Championships announced today the winners of Red Gold Tomatoes’  online qualifier. The Golden Sizzle Online Recipe Contest sparked a ton of interest from the Food Sport community with Food Champs throughout the nation submitting some truly outstanding culinary creations. And now the anticipation is finally over and the results are in!



Here are the Top Five winners:  

1st place: Jennifer Norem – Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Pizza Balls with a Creamy Sweet & Savory Marinara Sauce

2nd place: Elizabeth Bennett – Pacific Northwest Salmon Chowder

3rd place: Henry Delahoz – Spicy Bacon Saag

4th place: RaChelle Hubsmith – Shakshuka Polenta

First place receives a waived Golden Ticket ($300 Retail Value) with a $500 travel stipend for the 2018 Championship. So congrats, Jennifer! We’re holding a spot for you! The remaining winners also win a Golden Ticket as well, but since the Bacon category is now full, their names will go on a waiting list for the 2018 event (or they can use their Golden Ticket for the 2019 championship).
