Ivy Tech Community College Partners with World Food Championships to Support Culinary Education at 2024 Event in Indianapolis Indianapolis, IN – (November 1, 2024) – The World Food Championships (WFC) is excited to announce a new partnership with Ivy Tech Community College for the 2024 WFC event, taking place at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis from November 8-12. Ivy Tech, Indiana’s largest public postsecondary institution and community college system, will serve as the premier sponsor of the WFC Junior competition on November 8, where young culinary talent will have the opportunity to showcase their skills on a national stage.

This partnership offers an invaluable experience for Ivy Tech students, as hundreds of students will be integrated into the WFC event through culinary support and volunteer roles. This hands-on participation will give students firsthand insight into food sport, allowing them to apply their culinary skills and deepen their knowledge in a real-world, high-energy setting. As a leading institution in culinary education, Ivy Tech’s support underscores the WFC mission of advancing culinary excellence.
