HEAD COOK: Anthony Serrano
COMPETITION: Bacon World Championship
I was born and raised in Bullhead City, Arizona. I now live in Chandler, Arizona and I’ve worked in the restaurant business since I was 15 years old. My family opened our first restaurant when I was 2 years old and I've loved it for as long as I can remember. My family lives to cook and coming up with new creations is a family past time. What little free time we have together is used cooking and creating new dishes. In addition to learning much from my dad who also is Chef, I attended Le Cordon Bleu and earned my bachelors degree in Culinary Management. Over the course of the past few years I have found a new passion in competitive cooking. I have won over 50 awards in several state cooking competitions and participated in my first national cooking competition at the WFC where I placed 2nd in my category in 2014. My culinary point of view is I believe nothing in the kitchen goes wrong you just have to adapt. I am a firm believer of adapting and overcoming. I find it fun to teach and inspire people to cook better and get over fears of cooking new and difficult dishes.
