The World Food Championships invited competitors from around the world to compete in a food fight for the ages. Competitors battled in seven different categories featuring classic American cuisine - BBQ, chili, burgers, sandwiches, bacon, dessert, and recipe - to earn a coveted spot at the Final Table. When the smoke cleared, Dave Elliott won the $50,000 grand prize and was crowned 2013 World Food Champion for "Mom's Carrot Cake".
