The GodMother- Sherri is a wife, mama, GiGi, veteran, grill master, avid foodie and award-winning home cook from Crestview, Florida, Sherri Williams caught the competitive cooking bug 7 years ago with more than 70 + contest wins to date. Inspired by her Grandma Logan, Sherri aims to infuse deliciousness and love into everything she cooks. Sherri has appeared on Food Network, Travel Channel, Today Show, Good Morning America, Steve Harvey Show (Morning Radio Show) and Local TV with her award winning recipes. You can also find 100's of Sherri's recipes online, in cookbooks, magazines and newspapers. This will be Sherri's 5th year competing at the World Food Championships. Cooking is truly her love and passion!
The Firefighter Foodie-ALEX: When Alex Callegari is not out driving a fire engine for the City of Boca Raton Fire Department, you will find him in the kitchen cooking for his fire department crew, his family or creating one of his award-winning recipe creations. A two-time World Food Championship Competitor and a top 10 finisher, he has numerous cooking titles to his credit and has made cooking appearances on national television including the Food Network, The Steve Harvey Show and Fox and Friends, as well as multiple local media appearances. Alex loves to serve his community and has utilized his cooking skills as a means of continuing this service by donating tens of thousands of dollars of his prize money earnings to charity, as well as teaching cooking classes to at-risk young adults.
MadFoodie: Cortney Riley began her affair with food by falling for chocolate covered strawberries. Her culinary roots are as seasoned as her great-grandmother’s cast iron skillet. She views recipe creation as gastronomic magic, and fancies herself a flavor daredevil and food artist – a cross between Julia Child and Bob Ross. Cortney has barbecued at the renowned American Royal, and serves as a blogger and personal chef, hosting private foodie events and helping budding chefs realize their true potential as MadFoodies.
