    The inaugural Fairhope Emblem Chef Competition is a challenge for all seasons. Yep – pick a holiday season and create your dish to match that theme. Each Chef Team will prepare 250 samples for guests to enjoy and vote for as their favorite. Teams will also prepare a signature theme dish for a panel of judges (1 complete dish and 5 samples). The best Judges Entry wins $500 and a Golden Ticket for WFC 2019 in Dallas. Second place wins $300 and Third place $150. All proceeds benefit the Fairhope Elks Lodge 1879. 2018 World Seafood Champion

Food Sport newcomer Beau Smith reeled in a big win against a field of talented cooks to become the 2018 World Seafood Champion this past November in Orange Beach, Alabama. His winning dish titled, “Oscar la Vista baby,” earned him $10,000 and a spot at the World Food Championships’ (WFC) Final Table challenge.
